In the March issue of Food Network magazine you will find a small recipe book with 50 different kinds of pizza. The first page gives you a basic crust recipe and a numbered guide to all of the different types of pizza you can make. You can choose to follow a pan recipe like I did, or follow the directions for using a pizza stone. Using the basic crust recipe with a perforated pan worked very well for me. The only change I made was to use a garlic flavored olive oil. The crust had a great flavor with a crispy bottom and a soft bubbly center. I made a pepperoni only pizza for my kids and it developed a super large bubble much to the amusement of my son, but the "adult" pizza with it's more weighty toppings remained giant bubble free. The basic recipe is wonderful, but there are so many pizza ideas to try. The wonderful thing about pizza is that you can be light and healthy or go for the works. Be sure and check out Food Network Magazine and add the pizza insert to your recipe box.

At the dinner last night, people were talking about him. The man next to me loves Giada and never misses watching her. FN sure is a conversation starter.
