| Menudo?
In last night's episode of D3, Guy visited a Mexican restaurant. He watched the cook make Menudo, a soup beloved in Mexico. It had cow hooves and tripe in it. I was really surprised at Guy's reaction though. He balked about tasting it, took a bite and then stuffed a roll in his mouth and took a drink. His face turned bright, bright red and he looked as though he was going to be sick. Hilarious! As a chef I can't believe he wasn't more adventurous in tasting this national dish of Mexico. He didn't offend the hosts too much as he praised all their other food. So has anyone ever had Menudo? |
