It matters not, Brown says, that “ Good Eats,” his smart- yet- slapstick creation, has replaced the Food Network’s former flagship,
Emeril Lagasse’s “ Emeril Live,” in the prime- time 8 p. m. slot. “ That is in no way, fashion or form a move up any kind of ladder,” he avers.
