| When I had daughter, my neighbor worked in maternity and she was suppose to get off work. Guess what? She was all excited I was there that SHE decided to stay and be my nurse. That was a bit uncomfortable to have your neighbor tending to you.
Other than her (and the doctor/midwife), my husband was the only one there and I didn't even want him in the room! Those who have been through it understand what I'm talking about.
