| I think it was mall security guards who knew Duff. No one said exactly why but you know how kids at the mall can be. He did spray paint under some remote bridges but not on buildings and it was ART not just graffiti according to his mama. I remember spray painting on an overpass bridge when I was a teenager. Hey, that makes me baaaaaad to the bone!
One of the most interesting things is that Duff worked a few hours a week at the French Laundry when he was in pastry school. He wasn't even paid. But he was offered a job after he graduated. Only the first night of his real job, he was goofing off, his boss yelled at him and it walked out of the place. Yikes! The guy has to be pretty confident with himself to tell such a bad story. No weaseling, no lying, just this is who I am and what I've done. I have to like that guy. |
