| Yes, I remember one show where she was talking about Jefferey wanting a yacht... they make good money, look at their house and their friends... and she just kept saying "I'll never let him own one" and at the end she apologized to him for not being able to get one but she said it like it would never happen anyways. Like "sorry but the answer is still no"
I'm a girl... i've been in the having-a-whipped-man position before, it was nice, I guess... but I totally think men need to stand up for themselves sometimes...
If he's working as a dean at Yale, he obviously has a pair... stick up for yourself man... if you want that yacht, buy it and go out on the lake without her if she wont go.
I'm not saying the show is not great... she has awesome recipes, and she makes me feel like I can do it, even without all the gourmet items I can never find at my neighborhood grocer...
I DO like the show other than the cheesy-scripted Jefferey-is-a-doofus bits. I think they just overdo it on that part. I just can't believe he's ok with it! |
