I think the FN has really taken after MTV and MTV2 neither show all music videos anymore... MTV2 which was made for vids only has hardly any dedicated times to just vids anymore.
And I totally agree about the wee hours, thats when they should show old favorites like the stuff they booted for all the overexposed stuff. I'll miss Emeril, and they booted Molto Mario, and Wolfgang Puck,(the latter two can still be watched on FLN, which is another scripps network... but still)

Thanks for the comments. I like some of the travel shows myself, and they do fit in the "Food Network" land, as it is not the "cooking network". And that brings me to my point -- perhaps they could actually have that be the new network:
FTV2: The Cooking Network
That's just a thought.
Also, I just dont understand why they just cancel shows rather than just showing them less often. Emeril would work once a week, but I could see how it would lose ratings being on every day.
There are some shows that make sense everyday -- but it doesn't have to be that way.
