That's the same pasta machine that I have. They're all about the same.
Don't be nervous about making pasta.
The most you'll invest is 3 or 4 cups of pasta and a few eggs.
At the worst, you can throw the dough out and start again (but that worst will not happen)
There are only 2 (and an occasional 3rd) ingredients in pasta dough.
Flour (all-purpose) and eggs (large) and an occasional few drops of water.
You can mix it on the board (as shown on the website you posted) or in a mixing bowl, a food processor or a stand mixer.
I strongly suggest a food processor because in this machine, it happens fast and you can see it happening and make adjustments (water) if needed.
