| I work in the travel industry and deal with hotel employees and their antics regularly. The reason why I believe the housekeeping staff really did take the UN cake is because I had something similar happen before at a hotel. In my case, we ordered box lunches (breakfasts really) for some golfers who were being picked up before any of the hotel restaurants were open in the morning. Unfortunately, the vendor was late and arrived after the customers left. The bellmen, without asking anyone (my company or the vendor) decided to eat the box lunches!! This happened at a major hotel in a very popular vacation destination. I believe the incident on Ace of Cakes was real and not scripted. |
