I should have bought the Chiarello Zinfindel at Kroger when I saw it. I didn't see it this last time, it must have sold quickly. I am going to try and go on the day the truck runs and talk to the delivery man. He spends a long time sorting the wines and I can usually catch him. He will usually be able to get anything I ask for if you catch him while he's there.
I found a box (yeah I know but it's nice when I just want a single glass in the evening because it keeps longer) of Pinot Noir today. Shiraz, Zinfindel and Pinot Noir are my personal favorites. Someone should develop a small barrel that would fit in the wine fridge and it would be better that the whole "box" stigma.
I am getting my husband to try more of a variety now. When we first started dating all he would drink is Lambrusco, and was more of a beer drinker. But he has started trying more reds and he has found several he likes. He still won't drink any white wines, I am working on him though.
