I may have burned an extra quarter tank of gas, but I saved an extra quarter on these cookies. It was sooo worth it."
But I think my favorite part is the woman who'll be "eating dog food next." What a joke! |
I actually shop at more than one grocery store, the difference is I drive by just about every different store in my 7 mile commute (5 different brands). I look through the flyers and if one store has a great deal on something I regularly use I stop and stock up. I do my base shopping in the store that I work in though.
Do I need to be this frugal, no, but I did this before the economy went screwy so the gas prices and food increases hasn't really had an effect on me, I eat well and I didn't pay full price for any of the meat in my freezer.
