Starbucks Corp. has named 50 of the 600 stores it plans to close, including two in Illinois: one on West 167th Street in Country Club Hills, and the other on North York Street in
Elmhurst.
The Seattle company also has targeted eight
California stores, including one site in
San Diego and another location in
Laguna Beach. In
Minnesota, seven shops will shutter, while five will close in
Texas and four in
Alabama.
Also on the list are stores in
Arkansas,
Iowa, Illinois, Indiana,
Kentucky,
Louisiana,
Maryland,
Missouri,
Nebraska,
Nevada,
New Jersey, New York,
North Dakota,
Ohio, Texas and
West Virginia.
The sites will shut down by the end of this month.
