We eat hot dogs occasionally and I get some of the more high end brands, well high for here anyway. Other than that I don't buy any processed meats. Once in a very rare time (usually spread out over years) I will buy sausage. But I prefer bacon. I even like to grind my own meat when possible. Years ago, before they supposedly cracked down on it. I worked in a grocery store that was a little mom and pop place. They would sometimes put meats that aren't heavily seasoned, like hot dogs or lunch meat in their ground beef. It was a way to get rid of things that were about to expire.
I never buy ground beef now, always chuck or better.
But really though, close up of things covering a page that look blobby and wet are going to look kind of gross, even fruit. Wet looks slimy in pictures. And if anyone didn't know sausage had fat blobs there is something wrong with them.
