Sunscreen wasn't invented yet when I was a kid!
It was baby oil and iodine for us. Burned like crazy.
Because of baking myself silly back then, I now have to stay out of the sun as much as possible and use sunscreen daily for the protection. Must admit, my skin looks a lot better than many who worship the sun. Guess there are some good things, like not many wrinkles.
