| I guess they did it once upon a time. Vegetarians would have never survived winter years ago in certain areas. I guess that's why it's a relatively new fad. We have it easy with so much available to us now. I can even order spices I can't find here online. I do like the variety myself, especially since our stores probably carry less here than many areas with bigger populations and more cultural backgrounds.
