| I agree with you, Clove, about the FN new shows. Too many things from a box and making food fast, not necessarily good.
I don't find them nearly as interesting as the older shows with real chefs.
The first cooking show I watched was in 1955 in Chicago. I was five at the time and it was my favorite show called "Creative Cookery" with Francoise Pope and his son, Bob. I learned a lot from them.
I had to use a chair to stand on so I could reach the counter but my mother gave me free rein to try out recipes. After 50+ years, I'm still cooking and loving it!!
