| You don't know for certain unless you grow your own. Most of the organic food they sell in grocery stores here have the yellow 'organic' band around it. Wonder how many people take the bands off before checking out? Just by looking at the produce, you can't tell.
I buy whatever looks good. Cost isn't a big factor.
