| Bobby Flay + KOHLS + Alton Brown ROCKS! Last week I posted a message about the best steak I ever made in my life. It was due to Alton Brown's Good Eats Episodes S01E01 and S07E something.....
We went to Kohl's last night and now own some nice new Food Network style cookware. I picked the Bobby Flay Grill Style Flat Pan :

And using the Alton Brown method of baking a T-Bone at 500 after searing it, was, well, GOOD EATS! 2nd Best Steak I have EVER Made! 1st was a Rib-Eye and this worked so nicely with a bone in Porterhouse, it should not even be legal. We have some slices left over to toss with eggs and tortillas for breakfast.
If you have never seared a ribeye or porterhouse on a blaxing hot iron skillet only to finish it in a 500+ over, please, please try it. You will be amazed. |
