So today we had our get-together at Mark Lindsay's Rock and Roll Cafe in Portland.
Everywhere you look there is nostalgia staring you in the face. I loved it!
The decor is primarily all the rockers from Portland, which include Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Kingsmen and many others, their instruments and costumes they wore when they performed. They are encased in clear plastic or glass cases and displayed beautifully.
The food was excellent. I ordered the burger with Swiss, oven roasted peppers, spicy very thinly cut onions and a special sauce. Of course there was the fresh tomato, leaf lettuce and red onion if you wanted to add that, which I did. The fries were shoe string potatoes and done to a light golden (I would have liked them a bit more brown) but they were tasty.
Service was top notch as well.
I'd highly recommend the Cafe, should you ever get to Portland. The memorabilia alone is worth seeing.
And, by the way, Mark Lindsay was not there today
