| When I need to pound chicken to an even thickness, I slide it into a zipper freezer bag and pound while it is inside, this helps me avoid splattering chicken juices and bits around the kitchen. I then use the zipper bag to put all of the chicken fat and trimmings in so that it can be sealed to prevent odors in the trash can.
