The tree lighting in our town is this coming Friday. We have a manmade lake in the middle of town, which is really beautiful, and they put a floating tree out in the middle of it. It is covered with the tiny white lights. Then, around the lake are trees that they also decorate with the white lights. It is so lovely to look at as there are restaurants around the lake and their windows allow you to see the lake while you dine.
They will have the carolers and activities for the children. Sure hope the weather isn't like it is now. Everyone would blow away and get VERY wet!
