| Our hot lunches consisted of a couple of turkey dinner lunches during the month.
They would roast whole turkeys and you could smell them throughout the school. We couldn't wait for lunchtime!
It was only 35 cents and you would get the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, roll, cranberry sauce and a carton of milk. What a deal that was! Our lunch ladies were THE best.
