We don't get much lightening out here. We occasionally hear thunder rumbling at a distance but that is rare as well.
A freak tornado hit a couple of weeks ago in Vancouver (WA), which is about 25 miles from here. Caught everyone off guard. It's
very rare to have that kind of weather.

Now they are saying it may snow tomorrow...I'll believe when I see it. We are in the valley and rarely get any snow. Had flakes a week or so ago but didn't stick. It was hypnotizing to watch.
