| I once saw Aunt Sandy heat up a can of tomato soup and throw a handful of packaged croutons on top for one of her semi-homemade dishes. Seriously, if someone has to be told how to heat up soup, they probably can't work the remote on their TV either. I like her though. Sometimes she'll make an appetizer that I like, one that's easy and fun. I always enjoy her decorations, individually more than as groupings.
I'd never used bagged frozen fruit before watching her. One day she explained that fresh fruit shipped in from South America isn't all that tasty so why not use frozen fruit that was picked at the peak of freshness. After one too many winter-tasteless fresh strawberries, I tried frozen. They wouldn't work for everything but they make a great smoothie. |
