Just read that the groundhog saw his shadow in Puxa-wherever..so that means six more weeks of winter back east.
There is no way he would see his shadow here with all the clouds and rain. In fact, I noticed that our red leaf maple has tiny leaves sprouting already! The fragrant shrubs next to the house have already bloomed and they normally don't until February.
Maybe spring will be early in Oregon this year!
