Back in the early 70's I worked for a company that I had to type up the spec sheets for 'variety' meats...lunch meat, hot dogs. The items listed were accurate, but boy, I gave hot dogs a second thought after that!!!
Today I buy them at a meat market that makes their own and only uses the 'best' meat...no by-products or variety meat. Eewww, that variety meat stuff is horrible!
