Questions we had for Aaron, answered in phone conference I participated in yeserday.

He did answer your question.

“I’m wide open. I have the blessings of having worked with different chefs who do different cuisines whether it was Latin cuisine or Italian cuisine but I have the ability to put my own spin to them.” He added he’s looking forward to having a bunch of different cohosts on with him and “definitely the finalists from the Food Network Star”.

That will be great! Wonderful that he will give the other contestants the opportunity to be on the show with him. A class act, indeed!

My question was. Now that you have won how do you plan to prepare for your new show?

His answer....
"Winning was the hardest part. Now it's just allowing myself to be me, cooking the food that I love to cook, I am doing the recipes I have written myself, and really just having fun with it. So my big thing now is just having fun cooking, it's a passion of mine, I can't see doing anything else. Now that I have a large audience, it will definitely be a wonderful experience."

He seemed so excited and already absorbing the star power. He's a nice guy. I think he will do well.

What fun for him!

Looking forward to doing my little cooking segment in my kitchen. May be a little archaic but that's ok.

At least I didn't have to jump through hoops like Aaron. What a challenge some of those things were. Didn't seem fair as they never have to do those things on TV.

Can you imagine Paula being hoisted by a cable to get a bottle of wine? Come on!

I guess I am more of a wait and see type guy, and it still sounds more like a home type food which might not be all that bad. I am wondering what chefs he has worked with that do Latin and Italian food, and where. Something just ain't setting right and I am not sure what, you ever get that feeling ? I will wait and see how his shows turn out before saying anything else.

I think it would be fun to see him cook with the other finalists or with other chefs. He seems like a nice guy and fun to be around, he could probably play off another chef well.

I thought he was at his best on the Rachael Ray show with the little girl.
