Aaron McCargo's ( Big Daddy's ) Funky Fried Chicken - Wing Drummettes for 2

Mix the spices together in one dish, and add half of the spice mix to the bowl of flour.
Heat your canola oil (about two inches deep) up to medium high.
Season the drumettes both sides with the spice mix and put in fridge for 15 minutes. (Aaron didn't chill them in the fridge, so this is a step that we added). Add any remaining seasoning to the flour/seasoning mixture.
Coat all the drumettes in the flour/seasoning mixture and fry them, covered for about 8-9 minutes. (We were able to get 12 wings at a time in the WOK, so made two batches). Uncover and turn with your tongs, and they should be browned and ready to take out in just a few minutes. Lay on paper towels while they are cooling down. Grab ya a few more paper towels, and go to town!

Thank you very much to Aaron McCargo Jr. for sharing his Mom's recipe, which he spiced up a bit. I would be happy to serve these to my family and friends as they are easy, unique and lip smacking delicious. They are hard to stop eating!

I recorded that episode, and I just got around to watching it today. I saw him doing that.

When I'm ready to make this dish, I'll just send it to the printer from here. I got a 12-inch skillet and a deep chicken fryer as well as a 5-qt Dutch Oven - all cast iron, so either one of those should work.
