Smoked Paprika from Spain by mail
There was a discussion of smoked Paprika in another chain, as it seems to be one of Aaron McCargo's key spices in several things like his fried chicken. I've been poking around on this website here in Spain:
HotPaella.com - Spanish Food and Paella Pans from HotPaella.com
Here is the Paprika page:
Pimenton - Spanish Food and Paella Pans from HotPaella.com
I'm actually ordering these two:

Sweet-Smoked Pimenton de La Vera - Spanish Food and Paella Pans from HotPaella.com

Hot-Smoked Pimenton de La Vera - Spanish Food and Paella Pans from HotPaella.com
They actually suggest mixing the sweet and hot smoked Paprikas so I am going to toy around with that idea. The shipping is not bad, for these two cans in my cart it's like $8 to Texas. But to maximize on the shipping, I am going to find a few more items to include in the package. When they get here, I'll post some comments on how these work out. From the looks of the site and company, I have little doubt that they will be excellent, as they describe the Oak log smoking process and give a lot of details

I seen the sweet smoked on https://www.surfasonline.com, which seems like a good place to shop, hard to buy only what you need though there is so much neat stuff there, they have a lot of commercial supplies for restaurants also.
prepared with passion and served with love !
I do not cook to live, but live to cook !

Wow, very nice site, thanks for sharing the link. Lots of great items there.
BTW: I tried smoked paprika tonight on home-made cajun garlic bread (basically garlic bread with cayenne and normal paprika with fresh sliced garlic). I used a little too much smoked paprika, and it picked up a little bit of a bitter flavor. I guess Aaron putting a whole fistful in his friend chicken spice mix doesn't come out bitter, but on simple bread it did. But I did use too much.
Ordered the tins from Spain this morning. Looking forward to trying them.

Just checked our mail to find that the two tins of Smoked Paprika we ordered from Spain came in last week. Which reminds me, here is Aaron McCargo on Smoked Paprika:

I'm surprised that I haven't seen this product in the supermarkets yet.
Never even KNEW about it until I saw Aaron uing it and talking about how good it makes the food he cooks taste. I hope that we see the rest of his children with him in the renewed episodes of the show in January!
