Big Daddy Strikes Again

Big Daddy Strikes Again

Well, season 2 of Aaron McCargo Jr's show Big Daddy's House premiered this past Sunday on Food Network. Despite a formidable advertising campaign including the reairing of season 1 and a barrage of commercials with fast-moving "house rules" urging us to "put the love" into what we make, the premiere ep showed little to no improvement over the first season.

There was one shining star, though...

I watched about half of it. The show needs something more...can't quite put my finger on it.

Sorry, Bentley, just my opinion, I know how much you enjoy the show. But then, you probably don't enjoy Michael and Ina as much as I do.

Like I've said before, FN has something for everyone!

Yeah, it's not Aaron's fault. I forgot already what he made!

Hopefully, things will get better as the show progresses. I don't expect others to like it because I do.

Not trying to sound like a racist at all, but you gotta kind of admit that he's the first Afro-American to have his own show on the network since Curt Atkins, the Neelys and Sunny Anderson.

Gordon produced it, so he has to make modifications to it if it appears as though the ratings or popularity might drop.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Aaron has signed a contract to be a FN star, so I'm sure that they'll work with him in making the show a complete success.

Why do we have to admit that? We need to start seeing people as people... not colors.

His show was called "Sugar Rush." He's a baker and his show ran for several seasons.

Nothing, just want you all to know that I would not ever play the racist card. I love EVERYBODY. And when I judge someone, trust me, it is because of the way they act.

As for Warren, I'll Google his name and see what I can come up with.

Aaron's show is fine. If his show is the same as it was last year, then it rates in the top five in
its time slot.

Some of the top FN stars that everybody likes have been doing their shows for years. He has only been doing this a year or less.

The person who sponsors the blog (when you click the link) has a dislike for Aaron based on him winning NFNS. If Aaron ended world suffering, we would find something wrong with it. I click the link before I realized it was that blog site. His blog is not about food.

Out of respect for those on this board, I will not comment any further.

That's sort of what I'm getting out of it as well.

As if the one who wrote the blog has a mean streak of jeasousy and doesn't want him to be a success! Boy! Jealousy sometimes, it eats a hole in peoples' stomachs like an ulcer!

Some of those blogs are reminiscent of those aggravating and annoying supermarket tabloids. They like to spread nasty gossip on famous peple for the sake that they want to spread around cheap sensationalism!

I mean like for Pete's sake, the guy paid his dues and fought for his place in a panthion of power and endurance. And for some bozo to come along and try to smear his namw, well, that individual has nothing else better to do with his or her time other than to spread controversy and scandelous talk!!

They need to just go get a life!

Ok, now I remember Warren!

I just Googled his name and came up with the info.

He DID have a cake show on the FN. Forgot the name of it though.
