Independence Day parade is Friday - June 27, 2008

Duff Goldman and his staff from Charm City Cakes will be the grand marshals for the Towson Fourth of July parade that starts at 10:30 a.m. July 4, rain or shine.
Charm City Cakes is a reality TV show on the Food Network's Ace of Cakes program.
The event begins at 10:25 a.m. with the singing of the national anthem by Julienne Irwin of America's Got Talent at the Washington Avenue viewing stand.
The Bike Rush will lead off the parade. Children and their parents should gather at the
Towson University Health Center parking lot by 9 a.m. Parade staff and Trader Joe's volunteers will help participants decorate bikes, strollers, tricycles and wagons.
