I LOVE cupcakes. In fact, I just bought buttermilk to make up a batch and freeze them. I keep unfrosted cupcakes in the freezer and take them out as needed, frost them and use them for celebrations or just a special treat.

Maybe he doesn't like them because fondant doesn't work so well on them.

How can you not like cupcakes? They're a little bit of happiness in a paper cup and can be so cute! Maybe Duff can't work in miniature?

I can understand why Duff hates them. He's a people person, very sociable, & loves people & people being together. Cake is something for many people to share but a cupcake is just for one person, making it a symbol of lonliness, isolation, the cake of a hermit. This is so contrary to his personality.

Correction: After seeing the cup cake ep a few times, I learned that Duff & Geoff tried to get into the Guiness Book of Records for the world's biggest cup cake. At first they were given the title, then later it was recinded because the cake was made in two separate pieces. Since then Duff has never wanted to make another cup cake.
