I wonder how many of these small town bakers that are just the standard bakery will get requests for cakes that are like the ones on Ace of cakes? Then I guess they have to explain why they can't do that.

Those are great cake designs on the show, but I'd rather have a cake that looks like Betty Crocker made it.

A regular birthday cake with frosting flowers....chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. YUM!

Really doesn't surprise me, people go to a local bakery to see if they can get the same work for cheaper, at a $1000. min for a cake from CharmCity and right now they are booked completely till the end of June, which surprised me thought it would be longer, heard at one time they were booking 3 years in advance. You would think people would know most bakeries don't have that many people working in them, but than again guess I expect most people to be somewhat smart. oh well !
