While I'm not sure how anyone at Charm City Cakes has any extra time for non-work activities (the shop is booked solid through November), the gang has launched its own blog... and Food Network Addict even gets a mention!



A big THANKS to Mary Alice and the rest of the CCC crew for the kind words.

They've already posted some behind-the-scenes photos, with lots more special features on the way. Plus, the website seems to be updated too--complete with cake flavors and designs from the traditional to the extreme.

Yeah... I said it. Fla-vors. Ergo: you can eat it! ;-)

And of course they do not have an RSS feed. I am still working on enough content to give that show a forum. It seems to have quite a following. I need enough to build a home for them here.

Has anyone on these boards even eating a Charm City cake?

They are wonderful works of art, but wonder how the cake is.

I have wondered that too. I am going to go ahead and give them a forum. I have had people searching for one according to my stats. Maybe they will add RSS later.

Yeah maybe they will get one later. For a while mine didn't work because I had a feature shut off. It took forever for me to figure out how to get it going.

They seem to have a coolness factor among the young and hip. My daughter likes to see what they make. She is artsy, but hasn't taken it to cake yet. The show could inspire more who enjoy art to give the edible kind a try though. That's a good thing.

Kind of fun watching them work together on things too. Some of them are good at certain things so they each do what they do best as they work on the cakes.
