New Alton Brown Welch's Juice ads in production
Growers pressed for time during grape harvest

The current campaign features the Food Network's Alton Brown, who has been in Westfield, N.Y. this week to film new commercials that will air beginning Nov. 1.
"I think Alton Brown has helped," Davenport said. "He is a very credible spokesman, and he wants to understand the science. He wants to know what makes grapes unique and why grape juice is good for your health."
The benefits of that advertising are likely having a spillover effect, driving up both demand and prices, Muza said.
"When Welch's marketing and sales go up, the other ones are sort of on their coattails," he said.
But not even the host of "Good Eats," and a few extra bucks per ton are likely to transform this into a banner year for the local grape industry.

Very cool! Certainly explains why the ads resurfaced after a few months.

I want to hear AB's Sinatra medley.
"You stole my shirt!""It's hard to do Palistinian cuisine & crack jokes."
About me wearing my blue pineapple shirt

"The dogs need new shoes."
"But then I'm a nerd."
"Do this & people will call you a geek. Personally, I'm okay with that."
"I can't help but wonder... is the bunny okay? I'll never know."

I see in the ads at the top of the page, one for Welch's is starting to show up (it's for a $1 off coupon). Wonder if there will be one with AB? I wouldn't mind seeing Alton popping up at the top.

Watch the add where he is cranking the press, is he lowering the press or raising it. If I am seeing the threads right, he would be raising it, not lowering it. I watch for weird stuff like that, what is your opinion ? and have you ever seen any juice come out the spigot ?
