Alton Brown marks 10 years of 'Good Eats' with a show, a tome and a bullet
Alton Brown marks 10 years of 'Good Eats' with a show, a tome — and a bullet Los Angeles Times "Good Eats" creator and host Alton Brown was supposed to be talking about his new book, "Good Eats: The Early Years," and the 10th anniversary of the show, which airs Saturday night on Food Network.
But A.B. — every bit the multitasking pragmatist both inside and outside the kitchen — was already talking about The End.
As in The End of "Good Eats."
"I doubt 'Good Eats' will last that long beyond next year," Brown said during a telephone interview earlier this week. ...
Well, I certainly hope we're not coming up on... "The End," but I trust AB's judgment & it is his show.
Perhaps after GE, he could do the stand-up circuit.

*~Lauren~* I want to hear AB's Sinatra medley.
"You stole my shirt!" About me wearing my blue pineapple shirt
"It's hard to do Palistinian cuisine & crack jokes." "The dogs need new shoes."
"But then I'm a nerd."
"Do this & people will call you a geek. Personally, I'm okay with that."
"I can't help but wonder... is the bunny okay? I'll never know."
I doubt it will end everyone I talk to watches AB on GE, and these are young people, they would watch reruns for years and years and years and years . . . sort of like me and Emeril or is it Emeril and I lol I could watch him for ever and probably will.
