Rep Power: 1 | I love steel cut oats, but am often too lazy to cook them(not a morning person). I love oatmeal in general, with the exception of instant, just the wrong texture for me. My favorite "everyday" oatmeal is old fashioned rolled oats.
But nothing can match the nuttiness of the steel cut!

It has a consistency of "grape-nuts" and takes about 30 minutes to cook in boiling water.
Definitely not instant!
The nutritional numbers are the same as rolled oats and instant oak (at least on the McCann's brand)

Rep Power: 10 | You can put them in a mini crock pot overnight and wake up to a hot breakfast.

Alton to the rescue!
