Alton's knives for Kershaw are every interesting but, depending on how you hold your knives, you could find the Kershaw (Shun) Ken Onion knives to be a real revelation.
Because I hold my knives with my thumb and pointer fingers on either side of the blade and my 3 other fingers right behind the bolster, the Ken Onion knives are great!
They use the same material as the other Kershaw (high-end) blades and have a somewhat shorter and ergonomic handle, built for people that hold their knives like me.
Ken Onion was the knife designer that came up with the angled blades with which Alton fell in love and uses on his "signature" line. Alton paired them with the Shun Classic handles. Instant line.
