ALTON — A motorcycle trip this week led a popular television host to two of the city’s favorite eateries.

Food Network’s Alton Brown stopped in at Fast Eddie Bon-Air and Pie Town Stompin’ Grounds on Wednesday to grab some grub and tape an upcoming segment of “Feasting on Asphalt,” a recurring feature on the popular cable network. MORE HERE

My sister wants him to teach Home Economics at her school... well she would want him to if they actually had Home Economics.

He actually started out doing these for "cable in the classroom" so maybe if she did have it they would show her the dvds.

How do you say Alton? I noticed on this show he was discussing that he says Al ton, the same as you would Albert. But we have a little neighbor boy named Dalton, and in my mind I always think All ton, because of that. And there is a Dalton Georgia, Alton is from Georgia. Seems right ... but not.
