Rep Power: 2 | I can't wait for this series, we went on a Caribbean cruise, Jamaica, Grand Caymans, and then to Cozumel. When in Jamaica we climbed the Dune River Falls what a work out, is a must for people who are in shape, we had fun hauling our fat rear ends up that thing. On the way back to the ship we stopped at this little sea side food place, wasn't a restaurant but a place to get souvenirs, but they had some of the best jerked chicken, oh was it good nothing like native island food. Grand Caymans we swam with the sting rays, interesting, scary though just after was his name got killed by one. Now that I have been it will be interesting to see where Alton goes and see if I can see anything I recognize.

Rep Power: 10 | This seems safer for him than the motorcycle. Let's just hope Alton doesn't fall off the boat. |

We also swam with the stingrays, it had to be the best excursion that I have ever done on any cruise!
I'll be cruising again at the end of August!

Rep Power: 10 | Cool. Quote: About the Show -
Alton Brown goes in search of America's culinary roots and Caribbean flavors in Feasting on Waves. He starts his journey on St. Kitts (aka St. Christopher), named by and for Christopher Columbus on his second journey to the new world. Alton, like Christopher, is traveling North and West through the Leeward Islands and on to the British Virgin Islands. Alton maintains the spirit of Feasting on Asphalt and seeks out the most authentic and traditional foods of the regions and meets the people who created them. Restaurants are the most obvious targets but Feasting is about the unexpected, so Alton also ventures to find roadside stands, street vendors, farmer's markets, farms, spice houses and homes of local cooks who make specialties of the region. |
