Me too...plain white. However, when we were married 30+ years ago, I had an avocado colored one. Everything was avocado, burnt orange or gold...even the shag carpeting! Had to use a rake on it as the vacuum would suck the whole thing up!!

Ooo the Brady bunch kitchen!! My neighbors even had the orange counter tops. Mine were blue when I moved in, which I learned from HGTV that is the most decreasing value color available.

I love my mixer though, plain or not.

Ours were orange (ahem, burnt orange or rust, whatever).

In our current house, we have white tile with navy tile trim. All the appliances are brushed nickel or the smoked glass. In either case, it all goes very well and I love it, very classy. I would have never, ever thought I would have such a beautiful kitchen. Love it!

Two months ago we had a new kitchen faucet put it..yikes, we had no idea it would be that expensive to get a Food Network type faucet...$800.00 smackers. But, boy, is it great and classes up the kitchen big time!

I think the last faucet we put in the kitchen was like $125 or somewhere around that. But I bet yours looks lots better than ours.

We looked at all kinds of faucets. My husband wanted to see what the companies had to offer so we went to a very well-known/stocked plumbing store. The prices varied, as did the products. Think this one is from Sweden...we always have to show visitors how to use it. Not that difficult, it is just different from the Delta we use to have.

You have seen my kitchen when I posted the stove. I had to order faucets when my husband was in Iraq. It was interesting Emailing things then waiting till he could reply to see if he liked it. It's hard to decorate with someone that isn't even in the same country. A couple of things it's good that he said okay, because I had to go ahead and order.

We usually agree on most decor. I am watching that show on HGTV now where the designer tries to come up with something both will like and their taste is really different.

Oh I've seen that show. I love watching those house shows on HGTV, although I haven't done much of it lately.
