Coolickes? Coollickles? koolickels?

Alton's feasting on Asphalt commercial mentions something like that and it looks like pink pickles in a jar. I googled but can't find what that is, I don't even know how to spell it.

That's one of the things were you can't really tell what Alton thinks of it as he is eating. He does a great job of describing it, but never gives it a solid review. He is VERY good at that.

I remember when he had pig's brains last year, he said he didn't like that.

And the pigs foot. But he wasn't there with the person selling those when he said it. I guess he tries to be nice when the people are watching him eat it. I always look for some kind of gag reflex to kick in. Poor guy.

I caught this episode last evening.

I had seen the promo's with that pink thing in a jar, and scratched my head----WTH????

Then, when they called it a koolickle, I had an idea---but just about died when they said it was cherry flavor!!!

Alton's first reaction, that quick eyebrow action, a bit like groucho marx's on marking a good joke.

You know he liked it, cause he started getting everyone else to taste it too. And, it told me all I needed to know---I have to try one.

I am curious, if I saw it somewhere I might try a bite. I don't think I will be making any myself though.
