I made A.B.s meat sauce w/photos

Yup, I did it. I'm giving it 4 stars because it takes to damn long to make, otherwise 5 stars. I made a double recipe because of the time and effort involved. You need some serious pots to do that. Make a single recipe if you don't have LARGE pots.

Carmelized onions.

celery and garlic to the onions

brown the meat

cook tomato product

start dumping ingredients

Dump 2

dump 3

Cooked the pasta half way, then added to the sauce to finish.

Served with some garlic bread and a nice spinach/lettuce salad, with a from scratch raspberry dressing.

Pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

Ding dang dong... that looks good!

I think the recipe called for like a 7 or 8 qt. Dutch oven... and that's big.

I use Michael's recipe...one pot and very fast and easy. Not to say that Alton's isn't great, which it definitely looks like it is. Just like the one pot method.
