I'd like to think AB would've said if he was sick. I think back to his blog post in 2004 with the picture from the hospital room. Alton was straight with us about that.

As he said on Tuesday, he isn't eating entire packages of cookies or ice cream like he was. My head spins thinking about all those calories! I can only wish to have something like that that I could drop in order to lose weight.

I still think he looks just fine.

Alton wasn't that big to start off with, I never thought he was overweight. Maybe according to the medical charts maybe, but I never thought he looked it at all. Now he looks really bad though. Losing weight good, losing too much weight for your body maybe not so good.
I saw a photo of Rush Limbaugh in the news the other day and didn't even recognize him. He looks good with the weight loss. I still think Alton is too thin and needs to put some meat back onto those bones.

When we saw the commercial for NIC, Erik & I looked at each other & said "Why does he look so gaunt?" Then we watched the 10th anniversary show & his voice was so hoarse I started to think maybe he was sick. But, Lauren is correct that when he got sick a few years ago (was it a super bad migraine? I don't remember) - he took a photo of himself & he said he thought he had a heart attack. So I don't think he lost weight due to an illness, but I'd still like to see a little more weight on him.

My biggest problem is when I get home from work. I eat really well at work all day & pack myself nice healthy lunches & then when I get home from work I just start looking for something quick to eat. I've started having some brie on crackers to tame my hunger until I get done making dinner, but then I always feel like I should be having wine with that snack. So sometimes I do!

The hoarse voice was that the 10th Anniversary special was taken from the evening performance. By the time he was finished and at the post-show event he was very more hoarse, after shouting and having crazy fun for 6 hrs with both 3 hr shows.

I almost told him to go have some hot tea, lemon and honey. But it completely slipped my mind.

The sick thing from a few years ago was at the ICA Battle of the Masters taping. He ended up finding out there was oyster sauce in one of the dishes he ate. That's the main reason he doesn't eat on ICA anymore.

Did you notice that one of the dishes prepare in the last episode of TNIC had oyster sauce in it? When the chef was naming the ingredients in it, I was thinking "I hope Alton heard that."
