I have purchased a small journal and a shopping program to help with the documentation of my grocery shopping. Having a Sams club membership is great. You can get tomatoes diced, sauce and in paste by the case. Big money saver for me. If you don't have a big box club membership, stock up when they are on sale, then you have the start to millions of recipes ready when you need it.
