It can be tricky finding `blue' cornmeal around these parts

Amazon has it. But then you have to wait for delivery to bake. So it's not a spur of the moment type thing. But as Alton says ... your patience will be rewarded.

I can't believe that there is no blue cornmeal to be found in charlotte! I live in raleigh which is a bit smaller, but we have access to a huge variety of food items. Come to think of it, the density of relocated yankees (me included) here may contribute and we have lots of big universities here so that may be the reason. We have just about every ethnic food represented here.

I saw blue cornmeal in the healthfood section of Kroger. It's where the Red Mill products are.
