His winning record on this show is horrible!
It hardly ever seems like there is a contest

Rep Power: 10 | He beat that chowder guy. He must feel really bad considering the rest of his record.

Rep Power: 10 | Didn't Bobby just win the Biscuits and Jam throwdown? It's on again tomorrow.

Rep Power: 1 | It would be kind of weird if he did beat those people. He comes driving up in those big, black SUVs with his two chef maidens to help him. Sometimes a part of his dish is already prepared. It wouldn't be fair to the poor, unsuspecting victim if he won every time. |

Rep Power: 10 | Maybe they are lessons in humility for him.

Rep Power: 10 | I sometimes wonder if the outcome is predetermined. Afterall, the judges are from the same town (usually) and I'm sure they are familiar with the dishes. Bobby always makes his a bit different and adds ingredients not common to the area he is visiting.
In the biscuits he put black pepper. Well, anyone familiar with the woman, who was Bobby's competitor, would know her style. Just a big, fluffy, biscuit.
Maybe they have him 'win' a certain percentage of times during the year.

Rep Power: 1 | Didn't he win a turkey dinner throw down? The woman he beat really thought she was the expert. Ohlala. I wasn't sorry to see him beat her. |

Rep Power: 1 | I've only seen a few shows where he won. Honestly, I felt really bad for the other person. I mean, they've worked on their product for years and are supposed to be the best at what they do. How could someone just walk in and do a better job? Chef or not, like several of the chefs have admitted over the years, they're not good at all types of cooking. A lot of them stink at baking. I think if Bobby tried making something similar to what the person he's throwing down with makes, he'd have a better chance, but he always has to add his spin on not-so-average ingredients. That's not a bad thing but maybe that's what the producers expect him to do. It wouldn't be "Bobby" if he didn't 'southwest it up'.
