Rep Power: 1 | Hello. My name is Aimee. I found this website while searching on Google.com for info on Ina Garten. This site seems pretty awesome...everyone seems really nice and friendly and I love that I finally have people to talk to about the Food Network. My hubby only likes Diners... which is a start, I suppose.
I need to start baking. I have a kitchen aid mixer that just seems to make dust. |

Rep Power: 2 | Well guess I have missed this before, checked all my old post never made it on this one. I found this site using Google to look for the beginning of Hells Kitchen line up. I am an old foodie been watching almost since the on set of the network on and off. The last 15 years has been more on than off. I have seen a lot of changes through the years, and I have made several changes my self. I use to live in MI at one time, lived in KY and now in TX, along with a few other states. Love it here, can grill out year around in shorts. My cooking has changed and I can say improved tremendously through the years. My love for cooking developed from necessity, I lived by myself for almost 10 years, and cooking got to be a past time, just to see what I could do, during the 6 years I spent in school after retiring from the Ironworkers. My line of study was Psychology and Sociology, but my job ended up in computers. My goal is to retire once again, and go to culinary school, to polish my skills. I have 3 sons, all grown, one graduating with a degree in PSY, the other in training for restaurant management and one in computer sales, kind of a well rounded bunch. I am so glad I found this web site and am able to talk with people who love cooking as much as I do. |

Rep Power: 10 | That's great. I love hearing from all of you, we have such a diverse group here and it's nice to hear what people are eating and shows that are favorites in other parts of the country. Makes me want to travel around and see it all for myself. |

Rep Power: 10 | I'm telling you, you would LOVE the PNW! Lived in SF Bay Area for about 5 years and between here and there, it can't be beat. So much wine, wonderful produce, fresh seafood, I should weigh 300 pounds! Thank goodness I don't. Good thing I keep on thinking of Jack LaLanne's quote, "Everything in moderation."
