My absolute, favorite time of year! What isn't there to love about it?

I bought some for my table decor. And I put the little baby pumpkins outside. Of course it's still 90 degrees here so it doesn't seem quite right yet.

I picked up three gourds at the farm today and put them in my planter on the outside table. I have Dusty Miller in the pot with a big purple cabbage. The gourds add a bit more color and a sign of autumn.

Then I bought decorative corn. Wired three of them together and put them on the front door. Looks really good with the green background of the door. Have an enormous(!) rust colored mum in the corner by the door. Really is looking like fall.

I am watching Iron Chef right now and they are using those baby pumpkins I see at the grocery store with the decorative gourds. I didn't know you could eat those things. I thought they were just decorative.

I have my favorites and decorative gourds aren't one of them. I love acorn and spaghetti squash.

It was 80ish today. Not like autumn at all.

I'll have new pictures up soon.

We were up to 80 again as well. It's supposed to start raining today and take us down to the 60's and 70's for the rest of the week.
