Dinner Impossible at my house
Power is out. I had broccoli soup on the stove. Finished e everything including the bread on a gas burner. Battery running out on my phone.

We, fortunately, have a gas stove. This is the first house that didn't have an electric stove. The oven is a built-in and that is electric.

Right after we moved in, the power was out for three days due to a snow and wind storm. I was very happy we had the gas stovetop and the fireplace!

Yes, meals were served by only candlelight, but I usually do that anyway. Makes meals more special.
